Vaccination news
12 August 2020/
Please see our most recent updates below:
1) We still have flu shots available for those who would like one!
2) The catch up for shingles vaccination (Zostavax) is ending 10/2021 for people aged between 70-79. If you would like Zostavax as a free government-funded vaccination, please discuss this with your GP. After 10/2021, Zostavax will only be available for people 70 years of age.
3) There has been a change to the pneumococcal vaccination schedule. It is not free for those 65 years of age and over, but is now given free to those over 70 years of age. The vaccination will now be Prevenar 13 and only the one dose will be required.
